Design rules (for FT2)

Use the 50% for FTL & 75% for non-FTL ships for new ships (EFSB ships are all 50%)
Ships up to mass 40 pay mass x drive units (2 thrust) in points.
Ships above 40 mass pay 2 x mass x drive units.
Treat pulse batteries as AA, A, B, C batteries, with mass equal to the battery class.
Interceptors = Mass 1, 3pts.
Antifighter Battery = Mass 1, 10pts.
Fighters - 2 Mass per squadron + 6 Mass for a launch bay. 20pts for launch bay, 10pts/squadron. Energy Mine Launcher - Mass 5, 50pts.
EMP weapon - mass 8, (4 arcs x 2 needle beams?), 80pts. - Has a range 12 MU & can fire at ONE ship in range (errata correction)
Jamming system - Mass 3 (AECM), 30pts
Plasmanet - Mass 3 (tractorbeam). Range 12MU. 50pts
Beam weapons - 2 Mass per Battery & Mass equal to the rating. 15pts/battery + 10*rating for capacitor.

Old One Weapons:
Advanced Grav Drives
- Usable as either Kra'vak grav movement or vector movement. Movement modes can be swapped if both heading & course matches.
Armour (Shadow/Vorlon) - Acts as 2 intercepters vs Pulse weapon fire & subtracts 2 from every die vs Beam weapon fire (reducing the effective range to 24 MU). 100 points.
Armour (Whitestar/Shadow scouts) - Acts as 1 intercepter vs Pulse weapon fire & subtracts 1 from every die vs Beam weapon fire (reducing the effective range to 30MU). 50 points.
Jump Gate Collapser - Mass 6, 200 points. Has a range of 40 MU, on a roll of 2+ the open jumpgate will collapse.
Shadow Beam Weapon - 4 mass/20 points, but 16d of capacitor power can be used per turn. (recharge 3d6)
Vorlon Beam Weapon - 4 Mass/20 points, 12d limit but does double damage if target is within 6MU. (recharge 3d6)

Hyperion class Battlecruiser: Mass 60 with jump drive, 576pts.
Nova class Dreadnought: Mass 84, 728pts.
Olympus class corvette: Mass 44, 455pts. - extra mass classed as obsolete equipment.
Typical Starliner: Mass 40, 246pts.
Typical Light Freighter: Mass 60, 366pts + cargo.
Shepherd Starfury transport: Mass 20, 106pts.
Porcupine Starfury transport: Mass 20, 96pts.
Cotton Long Range Tender: Mass 88, 472pts + cargo.
Condor Troop Transport: Mass 40, 306pts.
Narn Heavy Cruiser: Mass 72, 848pts.
Narn Battledreadnought: Mass 88, 1072pts
Centauri Light Cruiser: Mass 58, 610pts.
Centauri Battle Cruiser: Mass 100/132 hull, 1144/1432pts. - Use the higher points for play balance. Minbari Warcruiser: Mass 120, 1540pts.

The only one that doesn't fit the mass properly is the Centauri Battlecruiser. :-(

NB: Shadow vessels do not suffer threshold checks as normal vessels, instead, when damage indicates a threshold check, the vessel is unable to generate or expand any power for the next turn. (ie: cannot move/fire/charge capacitor). If it is moving, then it drifts at it's current course & velocity.
