Battletech PBeM
Solaris VII - 'Mech Games of 3028

Last Updated: 19 July 1998

This is a grand melee to test the Maximum Tech Double Blind rules for use in PBeM games.
At this stage, Level One (3025 technology) will be used & since this is a PBeM game, I am allowing some of the optional rules below to expand the chances for mass carnage. A normal Battletech game doesn't allow opportunities to fully exploit available tactics, especially in an urban environment. Setting up ambushes, being ambushed & outflanking your opponent are all valid & possible tactics using double blind. The more sinister aspect is the unknown: is that a 20 ton Locust in the next street or a 100 ton Atlas just waiting to obliterate the first target in range? You never really know until you visually ID it...
