Turn 5 Detection Report

Turn 4 Results - Solaris VII - 3 Lakes Valley

Most of the firing this turn was all one way traffic. Red O'Connor (brian#13) gets fired at by 3 PPCs & a large laser, due to being the only valid target on the east of the board. Several chunks fly off his 'mech, including a large portion of the head, taking most of the sensor array with it, but doesn't kill him. Maxwell Drake is starting to gain a reputation as a head hunter, whether this run continues is up to the other players. Little Joe Duke stands amid the smoking remains of the tree grove, the energy storm around him abating for a few seconds as he registers his lack of centre torso armour. Surprisingly, only Yoshi Tanago (Ben#16) fired at the shutdown 'mech of Big Joe Duke, driving it to it's knees & then jumping beside him to try & finish the job. It will be a major decision whether he dumps the inferno ammo, as both arms now lack any armour protection.

Both Larry's battlemechs actually manage to hit this turn, with all the other weapons missing by only 1 point due to firing out of the water (Watch out Little Joe!)

Both Big Joe Duke & Felicity Bowain (Wayne#3) get rid of the infernos this turn, leaving them free to resume normal heat dissipation next turn.

7 'mechs are still undamaged, & 3 have been destroyed so far. Not bad for 5 turns of combat. The next 5 turns should prove more bloodthirsty (especially when the backstabbing starts over the next 2 turns).
