About me
(For those who insist on knowing)

The only important thing you need to know about me, is that I am:-

A DISCIPLE OF JESUS, THE HUMAN SON OF GOD,

and A BELIEVER IN:

- HIS RETURN FROM HEAVEN,

- TO RAISE THE DEAD,

- JUDGE THE WORLD, and

- ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH.

That gives meaning and purpose to everything else about my life.

My calling from God is to tell you about Jesus. Consequently this page won't tell you a lot about me. Here is:

THE BARE MINIMUM
I am Allon Maxwell. ( born in 1932 - You work it out from there!)
I was married to Doreen for nearly 53 years, until she fell asleep on 4 July 2006.
There are 6 daughters, and 14 grandchildren.
I live in Croydon, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. (About 20 miles east of the city centre)
I am a retired consultant engineer.

I worship in a small "house church", which meets in a home nearby. Having a name for it isn't important to us. We try to avoid being too formal about this. But there are times when others need a name to remember us by, and there are also times where it is a legal necessity. So on the rare occasions when we do need to use a name for "official" purposes, we call it THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.

The purpose of this Web Site is to host papers I write on Bible Subjects. These are available from the BIBLE DIGEST and HOUSMAILArchives.
