Hazelbrook Public School (in the Blue Mountains)
Runs a greenhouse to raise funds for the school, propagating good quality plants at inexpensive prices. It is open every Friday during school terms from 2.30 – 3.15 pm. A large variety of small fuchsia plants are nearly always available. If you want to check that it will definitely be open and there is a reasonable quantity of plants ring Donna on 0400355696. Entrance at rear of school in Hazelbrook Pde. No entry off the Great Western Highway.  Plants are also sold at the school fete and the Hazelbrook- Woodford Garden Festival in September /October each year.

Fuchsias and Roses

Maureen and her husband grow roses and fuchsias as a hobby and have a sign out saying "Fuchsias and Roses for sale" most weekends during the flowering season. Her fuchsias are $6 for healthy unnamed plants (if in flower she will tell you the name) in 8 inch pots. Ring 02 47741470.
