"Understanding Relativity" is a 5 week, or weekend course, that introduces you to the concepts of Einstein's relativity. Over a century old now and still not one of its predictions have been proven wrong. The slowing of time, and distortion of the geometry of space will be explained using powerful animations and graphics. This course is designed for those who truly are intrigued as to what all the fuss is about.

Introduction - A historical perspective of the physics, and tools behind the great theory.
Special Relativity - The 1905 theory that redefined the nature of space and time.
Relativistic Effects - The twin paradox, relativistic beaming, magnetic fields
E = mc2 - How is mass related to energy and the immense implications.
General Relativity - The relativitic theory of gravitation. Without it GPS would not work and black holes would be beyond comprehension.
