My porcelain tableware is a fusion of technology and traditional ceramic techniques. Each concept is developed using Design software then printed on 3D printers in various mediums.  From here the pieces are moulded and cast by hand using coloured porcelain.

The porcelain is coloured using raw pigment at the slip stage, should you chip a piece you will not see the telltale white body you would get with coloured glaze.  This process allows me to achieve a rich bold colour range not attainable with glaze.

Having said this I am now using coloured glaze on a small number of pieces to highlight the texture and pattern and add another contrasting element to the range.  This process also appeals to those who prefer the feel of fully glazed pieces.

Each piece is made by myself in the studio, the result is a collection of beautifully unique pieces that retain the small marks of the hand made process.

The pieces are hand finished and glazed using a clear gloss glaze on the inside to make them food safe. The exterior is left raw, the tactile surface is a direct reflection of the technology used to print each part.

Although they can be used in the oven and dishwasher, (I recommend hand washing) just keep in mind porcelain is vulnerable to thermal shock.  Don’t remove it from your oven and put it straight into the fridge or freezer or on a cold stone bench top.

Our range of handmade porcelain can be made in any of our beautiful colours to mix and match according to your needs.

We also carry a plain range of pieces that are double poured, one colour outside, another colour inside with the same clear gloss glaze inside to make them food safe.  These pieces are intermixable with the patterned range and make a beautiful contrast.

Our catalogue is now available for download.  This will continue to change over the coming months as new items are added.
