The theme for this year's World Day of Water on 22 March is Water and Culture. There are as many ways of viewing, using and celebrating water as there are cultural traditions across the world. In many religions water is sacred. In Australia we are learning to respect and value our water ecosystems and not make decisions that lead to their degradation. Why not plan your own celebration!
Good News: From 1 March all new home plans in Queensland must include greenhouse efficient hot water systems, energy efficient lighting, AAA shower roses and dual flush toilets.
