The current owners bring to the business years of experience. Dieter our head mechanic with more than 30 yrs experience has previously worked for such illustrious companies as Lambda Motors in Sydney - specialists in Lancia automobiles and Mercedes Benz in Germany. Having owned Mercedes Benz's, Jaguar's, BMW's and Alfa's Himself.
Dieter also brings with him a strong motor racing heritage. In the late 60's he raced at such circuits as Oran Park and Amaroo Park in his Jaguar XK120, Formula V, Lynx formula three open wheeler and later in a Brabham BT6 formula 2 Tasman Series open wheeler. This car was previously raced by Alec Mildren and was once fitted with the powerful Alfa Romeo V8 engine.
Brandt our 2nd mechanic is an expert in rebuilding Alfa Romeo transmissions, conversions for Fiat X19's from 4 spd to 5 spd and electrical diagnosis, fault finding and repair. A must with any Italian car!
