THE STORY IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE HOUND !!
Ruler started his life in the Peel Hunt Club in Western Australia. He put in 4 good seasons at the Peel before coming to the other side of the country to be a stud dog. As well as being used at stud, Ruler has become an amazing show dog. He started with Best In Show at The Hound Club of NSW Inc at his 2nd show. Since then, he has collected many Best In Group wins and is now a multiple Best In Show winner.
Ruler was awarded Runner Up to Best In Show at the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show 2000 by Mrs Annie Clark (USA).
He was also Best In Show at County Of Cumberland Kennel Association with an entry of almost 2600 dogs.
2001 saw the return of Ruler to the Sydney Royal Easter Show and once again Runner Up Best in Show!!
2002 and a final assault on the Sydney Royal Easter Show for Ruler, now 8 1/2 years old. The result this time under Mr Hans Lehtinen of Finland was BEST IN SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
