Glenn Baddeley - Computer Science

I am a graduate of the Department of Computing and Mathematics (as it was then known), School of Science, at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds campus, Victoria, Australia. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computer Science, with minors in Mathematics and Physics.

Since graduating in 1982 I have been in continuous employment in the Information Technology industry, working for large corporations and companies, as listed on my home page. I specialise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and software, particularly Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) and IBM's flagship product WebSphere MQ (MQ), to implement Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.

I have co-authored two IBM Redbooks on WebSphere MQ and published two official software extensions to the product (SupportPacs).

Other areas of IT speciality and interest include security, cryptology, applications to number theory, graphical interfaces, human factors, tooling, cross-platform programming, middleware architecture and design, and Configuration Management Data Bases (CMDB).

This web page publishes some of my private research and development efforts in Computer Science, undertaken in my personal time as unpaid endeavours.
