meeting in the Staff Room of Governor Phillip King Primary School in 1990
between Steve Stretton and
John Dunn.
1991 was the first Season played in the Parramatta Junior League, with teams
U/7, U/8, U/10, U/11 and U/13. Our Original Home Ground was Bossley Park High
School. We moved to our current location, Bosnjak Oval [formally
Eldershaw Oval] 1n 1993.
The year 2000 saw the Club celebrate its 10th anniversary with
a special commemorative jersey being
produced, which each player in the 2000 season kept as a special momento.
In 2001 the Cobras became a sub club of Cabra-Vale Diggers,
their generous support is and will continue to be greatly appreciated.
Since inception, the cobras have proved they are a club not to be taken
lightly, with at least one team reaching
the Grand Finals in every season. In 2003 both our U/11-1’s, U/11-2’s and U/17’s
teams reached the Grand Finals,
with both our U/11’s emerging as Premiers.
In 2003 five players from our Under 15’s represented the Parramatta District in
their Harold Mathews team
