Meet the Cousins

The Descendants of William Hannah and Agnes Baird

Meet the cousins

In an effort to personalise this site, we would like to include short biographies of the descendants (and adopted descendants) of William and Agnes who have contributed to make this site a reality.

We would love to include you here as well. If you would like to do that, please contact us, including a brief biography, and some information on how you are related. Also a passport style photo (.jpg, .tif or .gif) would be great.

John Hannah (Inserted by Webmaster as an example)

Born April 23, 1962 in East Kilbride, Scotland, U.K. John is the youngest of three children - he has two older sisters. He attended Claremont High School in East Kilbride and went on to an apprenticeship as an electrician. In East Kilbride, he participated in the East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club.

At the suggestion of a co-worker, he ended his apprenticeship and attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. After graduation, he had some small parts in theatre productions, films, and television, then broke into the "big-time" with his appearance as Matthew in FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL (this is the role many people still connect him with).

As far as I know, John is not descended from William and Agnes, BUT there is the Hannah eyebrow and East Kilbride connection .........

Neil Brown

Born on March 11 1969 at RAF Wroughton, the third of three children I spent most of my early life moving from place to place as part of my father's job as an RAF Navigator. In 1986 I moved to Fife, Scotland and after several years working for the local council have recently started an internet based business.

I am the great-great-great grandson of William and Agnes, descended from Mary Hannah, Rodger Brown, Beth Brown and my Dad, Bob Brown

My personal website and family history information can be found at www.magikcircles.co.uk

Bruce Hannah

Born 1949 in Sydney, Australia, I have an older brother and two younger sisters. I spent most of my early life on a sheep station in Northern NSW, returning to the city at age 13 where I completed secondary schooling and began work as a computer engineer with ICL Australia. Married my beautiful wife Judy in 1973. Together we have three daughters, Elise, Amy and Emily.

I enjoy playing guitar, family history and mucking around on the computer. Judy has deemed herself a "computer widow", so it must be a terminal disease. For the last twenty something years we have lived in the Northern Rivers area of NSW where we operated a computer services business, before moving to Brisbane in 2003.

I am the great-great-grandson of William and Agnes, descended via Thomas Baird, William Alexander and my father Charles Sutton Cox Hannah.
