Scripture in the Parishes
 

The course covers:
1.  The Bible, its contents, formation, etc.
2.  The story of Israel as told in the Bible.
3.  The Four Gospels.
4.  The Acts.
5.  Pauline Letters, and
6.  The Book of Revelation.

Fr Guy Carlson, SJ, is pleased to offer brief courses on Scripture for the Laity.   The aim is to help parishioners become familiar with the contents of the Bible as a source of spiritual reading and prayer.   The suggested length for each study is five sessions of 1.5 hours over 5 weeks.
These talks are for parishioners in the pews and not for scholars.   They can be offered in parishes at times to suit parishioners, by day or in the evening.
