Northern England
We've only seen a bit of the north so far. We went to Manchester for the weekend and got a hire car with GPS so we went to Liverpool, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Holmes Chapel. We stayed in Manchester, but it was pretty wet so we didn't take many photos there.

Jodrell Bank radio telescope. We couldn't go in as we arrived too late, but I'd love to go back there. Timers on cameras are very useful!
Holmes Chapel, where I had my second Christmas.

We took a lovely drive across the Peak District to Sheffield, where we had afternoon tea at the Botanical Gardens. Very civilised!

After Sheffield we went to Chesterfield to see the twisted spire. It's really twisted!
