1841 Census
In Steeple Langford, Solomon Dredge (30) Farmer and Elizabeth Dredge
(65)
This looks like them, so John is probably dead in 1841. Steeple
Langford is about two or three miles from South Newton
Research Notes
Genes Reunited checked for John and Elizabeth
LDS unable to find deaths for either John or Elizabeth.. Other likely
children found and shown above
The above John Dredge looks like our man. Unfortunately LDS gives no
parents. There is another John Dredge born Longbridge Deverill,
Wiltshire in 1760 if you want to back a longshot. Longbridge Deverill
is about 12 miles W of South Newton.
