Stephen Vine 14 Miner Copper Boy

The abscence of Catherine, and younger children suggests Catherine may
have died late 1830s?
There is no sign of Stephen in the 1851 census
Note on Condurrow:
There are two Condurrows in Cornwall, but the above data suggests
Higher Condurrow close to Cambourne
Quote from an email I received - I have lost my note of the sender
Concerning Condurrow. There is a
hamlet known as Condurrow, (marked on the maps as Higher Condurrow)
situated ashort distance to the east of
Beacon. It is on a minor road leading
to Tuckingmill. Beacon is on the road from Camborne to Troon, about
halfway. Condurrow is at the site of the
Greater Condurrow mine which operated
from 1860 to 1913. The engine house is still standing in a fine state
of preservation and is quite a landmark.
There is another Condurrow situated
on the road into St. Anthonay in Meneage.
Hope this helps.
Bill.
Research Notes
Genes Reunited checked for Stephen and Catherine
LDS Checked The information about the two Edwards is a bit
sus. The first was
christened on the same day as Stephen, and buried on the same day
as
the second Edward was christened (26 Dec).
LDS have a Pedigree file for Stephen - to check against Vines - don't
bother, it is Rowley originated data
