Metro Ford - when we started, who we are!

Metro Ford is one of Queenslands largest Ford Dealers and employs over 200 staff. Metro Ford, under several owners and trading names has been an authorised Ford Dealership since 1925. Darrell Butcher purchased Metro Ford in November 1990 and as a result the company is now a member of the Torque Group of Companies.

The Torque Group consists of Metro Ford, Metro Refinish Supplies, Torque Ford, Torque Toyota, Windarra Motor Homes and Commercial Acceptance Finance and Leasing, and with a staff exceeding 400 in number, is therefore amongst Australia's largest retail automotive operations.
