Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty
Ford warrants that it will repair, replace or adjust any parts defective in factory materials or workmanship, supplied by Ford* on new Ford passenger cars and light trucks.

*Some exclusions apply, e.g. Tyres and Batteries. Check with us for further details.

Warranty Commencement Date
The Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty begins on the date a vehicle is first registered or first used, whichever occurs first.

Eligible Vehicles

The Ford 3 year, 100,000km warranty applies to:-
All EL Falcon, NL Fairlane, DL Ltd Vehicles.
All UN Explorer/DN Taurus/HC Mondeo/KJ Series II Laser vehicles
plus All Ford passenger cars and light trucks first registered or used on or after January 1, 1997.

What Has Changed?
In addition to the new 3 year 100,000km warranty coverage the following changes apply to the Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty effective January 1, 1997:-

All batteries are covered by a separate warranty for a period of 12 months (Taxis 6 months) from date of purchase regardless of distance travelled.
Ford approved parts and accessories carry a minimum 12 month/20,000km Ford Dealer Express Warranty. Ford approved parts and accessories purchased and fitted by an authorised Ford Dealer during the Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty period will be covered for the remainder of that warranty or 12months/20,000km, whichever is the greater.
Othern than the changes stated above, the warranty statement and definitions found in your Ford vehicle Owner's Manual continue to apply. The Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty does not deprive the owner of any of those rights and remedies which are conferred upon consumers by any applicable Commonwealth, State or Territory law.

Five Year Perforation Warranty
All Ford passenger cars and light trucks are provded with an Express Five Year Perforation Corrosion Warranty. This warranty is an extension of the existing Express Ford New Vehicle Warranty and it will, subject to the veicle being reasonably maintained, cover the original vehicle body against perforation corrosion for five years from the warranty commencement date. Ford Approved Panels - Lifelong Panel Warranty
The Lifelong Panel Warranty covers all Ford exterior body replacement panels for passenger cars and light trucks against perforation corrosion for the life of the veicle. Refer to us for details of the Ford Lifelong Panel Warranty.
