Rachel Gaudry is an Australian composer, songwriter and performer with a diverse background in jazz, classical and pop/rock genres. She has composed orchestral and acoustic-electronic works for film, tv, animation, documentary, theatre and radio. She is a recipient of the Johnny Dennis Music Award and was composer / music editor on the short film Shot Open which was recently awarded the Verna Fields Award at the 2008 MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editors) Golden Reel Awards in Los Angeles. Her music has been featured on radio and TV in Australia, Canada, USA, Spain and Taiwan. Rachel has released two albums of her original music and has performed in the USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Rachel recently completed a Masters degree in Screen Composition at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. Prior to studying at AFTRS, Rachel studied at the Canberra School of Music, completing a Diploma of Music in Jazz Studies in 1995.
