Special Tournament Games:

Local Campaign Rules:
The Long Road of War
An Offensive Push
Personal rules:
Tailing:
Current Melbourne tailing is as per Southern Cross
Squadron ADPC rules.
North Sea Front:
Any suitable pilot from the Western Front can also fly on the North Sea Front
(they're not that far apart).
Modified Head-on chart:
This is an under test rules change for local games, especially those
involving 2-seaters. It reduces the instant kill lethality of attacking a
rear-observer, but increases the chances of some nasty damage or pilot hit.
[HO: 1. RW / 2. CW** / 3. E / 4. E / 5. FF** / 6. LW ] for all
Semi-Deflection and Full-Deflection fire.
No-Deflection shots from 200' or less change possible pilot to probable pilot.
Advanced bombing, torpedo & rocket strikes (local 7th ed expansion).
World War II conversion - Undergoing a rewrite due to movement values having too large a range.
CW pilot armour: reduces all probable pilot hits to possible pilot
hits until a successful critical is rolled against the CW. (WW2 play only).
No armour protection: (WW2 play only), this applies to a lot of early
Japanese aircraft. When the aircraft suffers a critical result, roll
*twice* for the critical type, applying both results.
Heavy Craft: these cannot do reversal or fancy manoeuvres & always
count as level. They can only tail other "Heavy Craft".
Most of these craft also have fire extinguisher systems & will extinguish
engine fires on a 1 (negates need for falling leaf manoeuvre).
Optional Setup modification:
This is a modified setup for a change to the "deploy line abreast and 6 squares apart" that you usually see.
Print two sets of "Formation Cards"
onto light card, each flight leader chooses a formation from the deck *before*
rolling for altitude, surprise etc.
Place the flight leaders aircraft down first 6 squares apart, then place the rest
of the flight according to the formation chosen (the flight leader's aircraft
is highlighted).
