OUDF Mobile Assault Forces

Oceanic Union Defence Force Special Assault Service draws some of the best infantry available to any power in human space.


Unit Organisation:

Due to the elite nature of these units, the largest field unit is usually at the company level, but even then only for major operations.  More frequently, they are organised at the platoon level & then attached to other battalions & regiments on a rotational basis as per operational requirements.
As they are drawn from the most experienced soldiers available, the lower ranks are usually filled with NCOs and field officers.

There are 2 rosters below, differing only in equipment & purpose.  The Heavy Platoons are heavily trained in assault & boarding tactics, relying upon their speed & skill to secure objectives.  Light Platoons are the more traditional "Black Ops" soldiers.  Those for whom stealth & intelligence gathering make it their stock-in-trade.

Strike Team Two - 8 PA troopers - Lt, MLP(6), SAW, Funnelweb, Flamer, 3 x Assault PA.

Light Platoon HQ - 8 troopers - Captain, EW(sup), Medic, SAW, 2 x 2-man sniper teams.
Strike Team One - 8 troopers - Lt, Medic, Sniper, SAW, 4 x troopers.
Strike Team Two - 8 troopers - Lt, Medic, Sniper, SAW, 4 x troopers.
Strike Team Three - 8 troopers - Lt, Medic, Sniper, SAW, 4 x troopers.


Weapons & Equipment:

Heavy Strike Teams wear the standard Dingo Heavy Powerarmour with 3 heavy weapons per team.

Dingo PA: Fast (12"/d12x2"), Light (d10 armour), ACR (FP: 2, I:d10), sword (+1 CC).
Heavy Weapons:
Flamer (FP: d6 CC, I: d8) - replaces sword.
Gatling SAW (FP: d10, I: d10) - replaces ACR.
Multiple Launch Pack (FP: d8, I: d8*) - replaces sword.
Funnelweb DFF/spx (FC: d4, I: d12x2*) - replaces sword.

Light Strike Teams wear Light Body Armour and carry both the F72 ACR & silenced heavy pistols.
