Michael (that's me) is an experienced and practising Civil Engineer, with background in both Civil and Structural Engineering.

I have developed an interest in building methods that utilise traditional and more renewable materials and resources, introducing options and choices to an industry which in my opinion, has become "bogged down with orthodox and inpersonal conventions, lacking in user - friendliness"

Straw bale building is my personal favorite - coupled with solar design principles, there is very little to compare with the old world charm and character of a well built straw bale house
