Research Guidelines.
I am pleased to help those researching their ancestry.
I assume that you have researched the relevant birth death and marriages
indexes which are freely available. Whilst I have these for all states as
well as the United Kingdom I don't usually look up these if you ask me to search
my holdings. If this is not the case please say so and I will do so.
The resources to date consist of over 120,000 entries. Some of these have been digitised and of those 56,000 are available to purchase on CDs. The others whilst digitised have not been published on CD. The remainder are available for look up but many of these are not arranged in aplhabeticial order so look ups can be time consuming.
If you are only require a particular resource to be searched, there is normaly no charge.
Also if you only want a one name or a place name search and print out of those resources which have been digitised please ask - small charge of $5.00 usually applies.
For those who require a full search of the resources I suggest that
the following should be taken into account before you part with your money:-
You should be aware:-
-
that the time taken for research is the same whether
entries are found or not.
-
that digitial searches will return names that you may not be yours. For example a search for Smiths will find all the Smiths that I have in my holdings.
-
My interst is that of a social historian and I aim to put some foliage on the tree. So where possible I will include
background material or possibly references to places, properties or events. You may not want this material or already have this material.
Please note that payment is not required to after the work is complete and you are satisfied.

If you wish me to carry out some research / look ups please complete the Research Request form.

Hope all this helps.
