Children's Ministries at St John's

Our Children's Groups aim to help children know Jesus and mature in their faith with him.

Sunday School

Two groups meet between 9.30am - 10.30am during school terms at the same time as the Morning Service. The children hear stories from the Bible, sing songs, participate in games, drama and craft activities.

Infants

- For 4 year olds to Year 2

- This group meets in the small white hall.

Primary

- For Years 3 to 6

- This group meets in the large hall.

Crèche

Crèche is available for Babies and Toddlers up to 3 years old and their parents during the 9.30am Morning Service. There is an audio link to the Church, so parents can listen to the Morning Service in the Crèche area.

Playgroup

St John’s Playgroup meets on a Monday morning from 10.00am till 12.00noon during school terms. We have a flexible program that includes free play, painting, craft, singing, story time and morning tea. It is a great context for preschool children to have social contact and for the mums, dads and carers to meet with other.

Boys Plus

Boys Plus is a wonderful group for boys from Kindergarten through to Year Six. It aims to target the needs and interests of boys in an atmosphere of care and lots of fun.

GFS

Two GFS groups meet on Fridays in the Hall at St John's during school terms.

Teddy Bears

- For 4 - 7 year old boys and girls

- Meet on Friday Afternoons between 3.30pm and 5pm

Juniors and Intermediates

- For 8 - 15 year old girls

- Meet on Friday Evenings between 6.30pm and 8.45pm
