Youth Ministries at St John's

Our Youth Groups endeavour to bring young people towards maturity in Christ. St John's has a youth ministry that involves young people from years 7-12+.

Friday Nights - Extol

Extol meets every Friday night of the school term for high-school students in years 7 to 12. We meet from 7.30-9.30pm in the small hall. The night includes a mix of games, challenges, drama, music, sport, bible study and a talk from God's Word. There are also camps throughout the year, outings and fundraising nights such as our annual EXTOL LIVE (band night). If you are a follower of Jesus or someone just interested in getting to know more about the claims of the Bible we would love to see you on a

Sunday Mornings - S.M.O.G.

S.M.O.G (Sunday Morning Older Group) meets between 9.30am and 10.30am on Sunday Mornings at Arden School, just a short walk up Beecroft Road from St John's. This group is for students in Years 7 - 9 who want to learn more about God and have fun with games.

Sunday Nights - Bible Studies

Sunday Night Bible Studies are aimed at Youth who are really serious about living for Jesus and learning how to do this. Two Bible Study Groups meet between 6pm and 7pm, before our evening service, and are aimed at Years 7-12 Guys and Girls. A light dinner is provided at 7pm for $2.
